What makes a book worthy of being on the Teens’ Top Ten (TTT) List? It should be a book that you develop a deep personal and emotional connection with, a book whose story stays with you long after you turn the last page. A TTT book should stir emotions within you, whether that be happiness or sadness, elation or even despair. A TTT book should be a book that makes you think about issues or challenges you to view things in a new light. A TTT book should also be realistic in how it portrays social issues that teens encounter in their lives. In essence, a TTT book is a book that was so compelling that you had to finish reading it in one sitting because you could not put it down once you started.

To read another galley, please see Ms. Laudato in the SMCHS Borchard library during the regular school year and the summer. Thanks for participating in Teens’ Top Ten! If you have any questions, please email Ms. Laudato at laudatom@smhs.org or visit her at the SMCHS Borchard Library help desk.
